Pacquiao needs to prove that he's still elite fighter, and what better way to prove that whilst avenging a lost or "lost" as most would put it? Just on that alone it's got to happen. I'm with you on this for the most part, who the heck doesn't want to see Pacquiao-Matthysse, Garcia or even Maidana? That would bring a lot of buzz to the sport as well, win or lose I'm sure we'll get to see some memorable fights with Manny.

Pac was just ko'ed and fought Rios, who in ring magazine is p4p just about the same as Guerrero and Pac is accused of fighting bums? Rios is probably rated because he doesn't lose much, and has a habit of winning, a bit like Pac and Floyd. FLoyds other opponent Ortizis rated lower than Rios btw.

Floyd on the other hand has a nice relaxing luxury lay off and all he can muster up is performances over Ortiz, Guerrero and CW Canelo.

Pac is held to a far higher standard than Floyd could ever dream of.
