If Pacquiao gets past Bradley, they should be willing to settle for $35 million for a Mayweather fight because that's the best they're ever going to get again. I'm not sure if they take it though because I dont think Arum has that much humility in him.

Uh ok Plato. I dunno why you feel so proud of that obvious point, way overworked by you. Boxers are often not good with money. Pac is not an asset manager, nor a rocket scientist. That's not what I look for in boxers, not sure about you Plato. He's no saint either. What he is is the runaway winner in NSB biggest gentleman in boxing poll. Plato says that's a good thing

Not necessarily, his negotiating position couldn't be weaker now, with Floyd coming off Canelo and him off Rios. Floyd doesn't have good options, and if Pac could get JMM interested in 5 via WBO belt, his position would be much stronger, if he won clean of course.

But if Floyd was only willing to do 40m fixed before JMM 4, its a moot poit. Floyd will keep dropping the offer till unacceptable

Poor dope, you just don't get it. But that's okay you're in good company. My point is, your boy Pac is a mindless automaton that answers to the ruthless and efficient dictates of Bob Arum. Sure PAc's a "gentleman," but what good is that, seriously? A gentleman sells less than 475,000 PPV's, imagine if he showed a bit more spine?

Here I thought we were going to have a real discussion, but it was just another group of floyd stans making a thread and posting nonsense.
These floyd fans are so delusional and brainwashed that it's unbelievable.

To score more than 475k buys he should have avoided JMM's right, and not fought in Macau for tax reasons. He's made a ton of money under Arum, even if he never maximized his earning potential. If you fritter away 50m, say, you'd probably do no better with 70m.

But notice that having a promoter is the norm, with Arum being top ranked for a while. Only 2 guys have gone off on their own successfully, and both had promoter aspirations. Well, one of them is more of a wannabe, but he's got a good deal for himself. Pac has no time for wannabe promoting, he's got his politics crap. That can be very lucrative, even over there. Or can ruin you if you're dumb, Pac would have nobody else to blame. But probably beats Philty Rich records or lottery soda long term.

They're justifying Floyd's Arum excuse. For four years it was
ped testing. They can't accept the issue has always been
about Floyd's lack of balls. Worst fanbase in the sport's history

Yeah, I agree with this it's the size of the glut that ultimately matters and not how much you feed it, because it can always eat. My point is, its really interesting watching Mayweather oversee amazing continued success, as opposed to a broke and battered Pacquiao.

Dunno about this, the Philippines is not a rich country and I've never heard of politics being lucrative over there. Manny's made a **** ton of money over the years, that's a natural fact but what's also factual is that because he chose to venture out to activities that had nothing to do with boxing (politics) he was intentionally minimizing his profit. His politics won't earn him a fraction of what he makes in a single fight. His politics earn him national appeal and approval but nothing more. Manny doesn't strike me as a dedicated politician at the end of the day, he strikes me as a guy that does what's expected and nothing more. So I think he'd make a terrible president of a country. If you can't manage the day to day operations of your own career, why are people supposed to trust you with the economic welfare of a country?

If in Manny's current situation he can make a lot of money, but fails to capitalize on his opportunities why should he be entrusted with the fate of a nation?

He's 1-2 in his last 3 fights. Until he fights and beat a top 3 Welterweight. His stocks won't be higher. Love to see him fight Bradley again.
