Golovkin beating Stevens in a war really impresses you. Let me remind you, Stevens was the #9 ranked MW, meaning barely ranked. He was the underdog and was being predicted to lose in 3-5 rounds. Macklin was #6 ranked MW.

Ward is The Ring champ at 168, #2 P4P, and has wins over the #'s 1, 2, 6, 8, SMW's, and Rodriguez was also top 10 but was removed altogether because he said he is leaving 168. 2 of Ward's 4 wins over top 10 SMW's went on to become champion after he beat them.

Its funny because it's true. Ward should have rematched Kessler straight after the Super Six. He owed him for all of the clinching/butting/hometown refereeing.

Sorry, this wouldn't have been possible because Kessler needed more time to heal his vision after Ward damaged the Dane's eyes (by those "unintentional" repeatedly headbuts, of course)...

Where did he go before Kessler and Ward in any big fight?

Kessler went all over the world, so did Froch. Going over to the Caymans to fight a quick 6 rounder is not the same as going to Australia to defend your belt against the number one contender.

Not in my book anyway. Ward is in a division where every single one of the top contenders/champions has travelled, because it's a very diverse division. Ward has only travelled to AC. I mean, come on.

The dude needs to travel. He doesn't call the shots either, because he doesn't have any pull. The guys he's supposed to be fighting are major PPV attractions in their home countries.
