Maynever is a coward that is no big news scoop! He's proven it every year. He'll never fight anybody that isn't at a disadvantage. His "0" is a fraud for this very reason. Doesn't mean anything. Why do you think nobody counts him in their "all time" greats but him. He hasn't passed the warrior code. By ducking everybody unless they were beaten up( Cotto after Pacman beat him mercilessly ), undersized ( Marquez and he still wouldn't engage with him ), dehydrated ( chico ), underage, ( Canelo ) or so comparably slow they would present no threat. Maidana is my favorite fighter right now, he put Broner in his place, he deserves the Mayweather fight over Khan for shure, but i dont think hes the guy to beat Mayweather. I think that guy is one time Thurman next year.

Crazy how everyone who wins a big fight from 140-170 lbs all the sudden are ready to beat floyd!
Dana would get worked by floyd an if ppl on here know anything about boxing and level's of talent they know this too.
Thurman beats dana so does bradley and pac dana needs someone like prov not a 147 pounder with movement skill AND defense!

Bradley lost to prov and Maidana in his current incarnation is better than prov by a bit. I wouldn't automatically assume because Bradley beat a natural counterpuncher in jmm that he could deal with a pressure assassin again. Dude was slurring his speech for months. He is war torn. Fair chance he gets caught and his chin finally gives out or is stopped, depending on the ref.

Thurman got rocked by a weak looking punch from Karass. Good boxer, looks impressive, but Its my opinion he couldn't hang with Maidana's strength, because Thurman is also a guy that believes in his power. That belief would be broken.

As to Mayweather, I think Chino is the best realistic fight to be made with him on the current scape. Mayweather can outbox Chino of course, but Chino will make him use his legs a lot. For all 12 rounds. If Mayweather decides to stand in the pocket, or languish on the ropes, (which I believe he will, he always does at least once in a fight, even against ghost, canelo, Etc) that's where Chino will shine.

Mayweather Is A Fraud No Matter If He Runs His Record To 100-0.

He won't fight anyone in their prime. He cares more about the money than a legendary legacy. Hagler, Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Arguello, Chavez Sr, Pryor, even Ray Robinson, Oscar Dela Hoya, Shane Mosley, and Manny Pacquiao never steered their career around safe trips to the bank. They fought the best of the best in their primes, multiple times if needed, to see who really was the best, win, lose or draw. They had the machismo to take risks in the ring. Floyd has never done that. Even Boner showed more kahonies, to step in with Maidana, than Floyd. Floyd had a chance to fight Maidana after Marcos destroyed Victor Oritz, Floyd avoided that for a while, then came back around to fight Ortiz; he has stayed clear all this time of Maidana. I BET TOMORROW Boner would sign to fight Pacquiao! He can't beat Pacquiao, but I believe he'd have the ballz to get in the ring with him. That's more than we can say about Floyd JUNIOR.

Lord knows Maidana deserves the fight more than Khan but Khan brings a skill set Maidana doesn't have..in the end styles make fights..who would put up a better showing is anyone's guess..Khan has the reach, speed, technical aspect going for him..Maidana has the unorthodox, work rate, aggressiveness going for him...as long as Maidana doesn't go in there and pull a Robert Guerrero i'm fine with him getting the fight.
