I had Groves beating DeGale but DeGale could have gotten the decision and justifiably so, so Froch is right.

Not only did Groves not give DeGale or Kenny Anderson rematches, he gloated over the fact that he wouldn't.

Claiming he "bashed up" DeGale in a fight where he ran all night and won by 1 point on the scorecards.

Then dumping his British title in the bin and tweeting the picture to Anderson.

The guy is a complete hypocrite born from the Hayemaker school of smoke and mirrors. He was the only one getting "bashed up" when the stoppage happened.

I am also pretty sure/certain that Groves pulled out of two fights with Anderson claiming an injury only to fight much lesser fighters.

That is so ****ty especially after Anderson took the original fight on extremely short notice. He then wasted Andersons time and money promising rematches to throw his strap away and rub it in Andersons face.

I do want to see a rematch but I also hope Froch sticks to his guns and tells the idiot to do one. It would be perfect karma.

Thats a great point but honorable thing would be to give a rematch to Groves but his options are all big names so i dont see how it'll make'em look bad.

As for Degale he went in to an oblivion cuz hes hell bent on surrounding himself with a wack team. I picked the dude to be the next thing to come outta the UK. Went from SkyBox Office mainevent to twitter beef with Eubank Jr.

I aint British but i luv that Lonsdale belt and a petty move by Groves by literally dumping it in a bin. I just wish Degale breaks away from his current promoter n trainer and comes to States. Otherwise what a waste of talent.

I'm glad Carl has finally responded. I was already absolutely sure that this was the way he felt about the situation and its good to hear him clarify it. Its more than just about boxing between him and Groves. The way Carl sees it is that he has a hell of a lot to offer Groves in terms of financial status as well as the possibility of raising Groves profile on the world arena with a huge rematch. why the hell should he though? Groves comments since the fight are so delusional and he's acting as if he wasn't in big trouble in that ninth round. Hes got a very big mouth for someone in his position and it seems to me like his actions have forced Carl to overlook him just to spite him. Maybe if he was more respectful and less self entitled I think Carl would have warmed up to the idea of the rematch?
Personally I wanna see a rematch but only if Groves changes his tune and acknowledges he was saved from being KO'd by the ref in the ninth round because he clearly was.
