The two absolute worst decisions I've seen rendered this year were in the Burgos-Martinez and Usmanee-Barthelemy fights. At least you can make a credible argument that Burns did enough to win five rounds. Most have probably forgotten/ignorant of the Usmanee-Barthelemy fight.

I'm actually surprised that Scott was ahead on the scorecards at the time against Chisora. I didn't see anything from him that warranted such a lead. He had a pretty good round in the fifth and spent he previous four initiating more clinches than he was punches.
And then Usmanee got the favorable draw in a fight he very obviously lost to Mendez later that year. Poor Teddy Atlas's head is going to explode one day.

      Burgos got robbed for sure.

Another fight that could have received honorable mention is Tommy Oosthuizen vs Brandon Gonzalez. No way was that a draw.

        I had it a draw.

I gave TO every round after the 5th. It just seemed like a bad decision because BG dominated his rounds and TO squeaked by with his.

Chavez did nothing in that fight and clearly lost. I'd love to see the scores round by round from those of you who somehow found that fight competitive. But that fight pails in comparison to the Burns win. Burns got destroyed. Flat robbery in that one and of the highest order. That was one of those outcomes that makes wonder why you watch boxing. What both fights have in common is that you knew that neither Chavez or Burns could ever lose on the cards in those fights. That is the ****ty part of this sport that turns people away. Its corrupt and doesn't even attempt to hide it.
