I can understand your point. But I hope you realize there would be a lot of fights with a lot of HOF fighters that would never have been made and a lot of wins you will need to retroactively downgrade.
Gloves are never something that should prevent a fight from happening.

I am curious, ODH picked gloves for Floyd. Not the color, the gloves. Floyd won. Knowwing this, does this makes Floyd's win better to you?

Are you gimps really going to pay that much to watch 2 over the hill fighters? Especially since it's very likely Mayweather will stink out the joint running for his life. I'm all set I'll just watch it the next day. I cringe at anyone who would buy this alone without some friends chipping in or something just on principle. Mayweathers & companies going up your azzes hard this time with no vaseline

I don't so much dislike a loud, energetic environment, on the contrary it's cool, but boxing is an art and art can be well-appreciated in silence. Have you ever been to a loud fine arts museum? On that note, I'd love to watch a boxing event among a Japanese crowd.

I don't think I'm unique in this as I'm sure others would share my view, I sometimes prefer my silence during meaningful fights. I hone in. I just can't be bothered with noise. I need to see and hear everything. Going to a bar to watch a fight sounds more like a social gathering than a gathering of people that actually care about the fight.
