Most especially if Showtime and HBO can finally agree. Leslie Moonves CBS head, would definitely put up some kinda promo/announcement of the fight during Superbowl. it'd be HUGE!

How plausible is this for conspiracy?
Bayless was not payed off by may but by vegas to not let may not get hurt so pacmay can happen? Surely they must've begun negotiations for this last year if it progressed to the point that networks are the only issue?

Who cares if Manny has a boss? As far as we know, both Manny and Arum have verbally agreed to the terms. If the TV networks negotiations isn't the holdup, then it's Floyd who's letting his insecurity and ego sabotaging the fight again. The guy worries about irrelevant things like women do. "He has a boss, so he can't agree to anything" This is why the idiot always loses the PR battle. He either stays too quiet or he comes up with some bull**** irrelevant statement.Last edited by Carpe Diem; 01-19-2015, 09:20 PM.

The hang-up now, according to an official close to the negotiation but not authorized to speak publicly, is how Showtime (which televises Mayweather fights on pay-per-view) and HBO (which broadcasts Pacquiao bouts) can agree to broadcast the fight jointly.
Another official said CBS Chairman Leslie Moonves and HBO Chairman Richard Plepler are expected to be involved in talks this week to hammer out the deal.
