To be honest at first sight it seemed like a BOSS move by pacman!!!
But we all know floyd is really about his money first and foremost. With that said there still are a few problems IMO.
1. does Floyd DEMAND from pacman that he signes with TMT, or is he allowed to get a different promoter other than Arum? It would be very embarrassing for pacman to have his future fight in TMT clothes and to walk around with TMT entourage.
Can pacman sign with goldenboy oscar de la hoya?
2. assuming floyd wont give to charity, pacman's offer doesnt cover everything as of now. There should still be some negotiation regarding the split PPV's etc. Because if pacman says 50% PPV he is giving to charity for example, Floyd wouldn't agree. so the negotiation regarding the split/dollars is IMO still as difficult as it ever was.
3. I think for now 2014 talk is cheap, I see Bradley going to showtime whenever his contract expire. the only thing is he doesnt talk too much about it. the only thing that can make the bout pacman vs mayweather come any quicker is a massive boycot regarding PPV's IMO if both are only making 150k buys. then their attitude is likely to genuinely change.
4. people should basically boycot(PPV) both for 2014. To get the fight in 2015. Both camps are about their money at the end of the day including the networks. I'm sorry to say it but after giving it some thought, i am not 100% sure manny doesn't care about money. If he changes the terms into a realistic PPV split(60-40 or 65-35) and still goes through with the charity on his own cut, than he is a BOSS. This deal just doesnt sound like a realistic offer to make sure the fight happens, he needs to come with something better for me to believe him 100%. I mean he knows the other party is as capitalistic as it gets.
