So let's put all of this in context.

Pac is Floyd's boogey man! Everywhere he goes he's bombarded with "when are you going to fight Pacquiao". Even in Africa! He went off on George Lopez and canceled his appearance on the show just because the shows producers asked him about Pacquiao. Showtime wants Floyd to face Pac but Floyd just flat out refuses to do so and blames not liking an 82yr old man for the reason. Showtime knows Floyd/Khan is a shiet fight that will bring in mediocre #'s and will be a very risky fight for the network from a financial standpoint.

Showtime's Espinoza came out just a week or so after Pac's last fight saying they're willing to negotiate with Team Pac to make the superfight happen, whatever it takes.
And I've predicted that Espinoza would end up like 50 cent and make the mistake of assuming Floyd would want it. And I knew Espinoza will eventually come out justifying Floyd's Arum excuse. Difference is Espinoza has certain powers 50 cent lacked. Showtime still have the power to object to whoever Floyd wants to fight next. Now where is Floyd going to go this time around? Go back to HBO? I doubt it.Last edited by maguirre; 01-19-2014, 01:43 PM.
