Americans would get behind him if he was a fearless warrior who oesnt b*** or complain about every little thing. Real recognize real and most of the time floyd is b.s.ing. Eeryones knows hes good, but everyones knows hes an a**** n thats why everyone would rather see him lose than support

Americans got behind Kobe Bryant more years after that "case" and when he settled his ego down after forcing that shaq trade. Its all about maturity which he dont got yeteven at his old age

Will this thread finally be removed for good if Pacquiao signs a new deal with Top Rank?

If that happens it's as good as over.

The Cold War may suddenly thaw for Floyd's 5th or 6th fight, one way or another. After Floyd retires there may be select co-operation going forward in a new era of peace. Floyd's economic value is such that this cold war makes sense until the very end... Even then Floyd himself may not want to risk that 0 ever.

So I wouldn't write it off if Manny re-signs with TR. That 'issue' is 95% BS that makes net economic sense over the remaining fighting life of Floyd, until his final fight or two, for a few major parties.

This poll is ****ing ridiculous, no one in their right mind would pick Pacquiao to win much less KO Floyd, especially when one takes into account that Manny hasn't had a KO in years. Suddenly after his lackluster performances of late, Floyd gets put in front of him and the moronic wet dreams of Pac's brain dead army are suddenly realized? Manny hasn't been able to stop his last seven opponents, he hasn't had a KO since November 2009, but a bout with Floyd is going to produce this, and against arguably the best defensive fighter that's ever lived? Manny missed over 1000 punches against the stationary Clottey, and couldn't KO Margarito, Mosley, Marquez in two additional opportunities, Bradley or Rios but yet Floyd is ripe for the picking? ****ing idiots....

Pac fans live a bubble that firmly insulates them against reality, that much is clear. I've stated it time and again the rules of physics and logic don't work on them. Pacquiao could lose 100 times and they'll still feel like Floyd is ducking him.

i think some of you guys are drinking the pac-juice just a little bit too much. i like him too, im a fan. but 36% think he will win by tko and more than half think he will win? calm down. no one is ko'ing mayweather.

pacquaio would have to fight his perfect fight to win. but i think he can do it though, just like i said needs to be on his A+ game.

but flo-mo will never fight him though. hes scared. this is obvious. WAKE UP GUYS!!!

its 2014 and were still talking about the same thing we were in 2008. once pacqauio ko'd hatton in the 2nd round while floyds dad was working the corner, floyd got duck syndrome, and then the cotto ko just solidified it more.

everything he says as to why not is a smokescreen. why is it that he was using steroids/blood testing as an excuse and now his excuse is because he's with bob arum? why didnt he just say that to begin with then??

we gotta give floyd props for being the #1 p4p in the world today, but he doesnt want anything to do with pacqauio. floyd knows its possible pacqauio can mess up his whole legacy. thats why his whole attitude is basically 'well why fight him?'.

No one in their right mind will defend this fight NOT HAPPENING. True fight fans want the fight to happen, no matter who wins or loses.

I still would like to see Mayweather vs Pacquiao…I can't think of anyone that will be as competitive as Pacquiao right now. I definitely don't think it's too late…I'd much rather see this match than Mayweather vs Khan!

                  Is this Floyd's problem???

I am really starting to believe what I saw 50 Cent say in an interview on ESPN in believe. He essentially said that instead of looking at the money he'd make in the Pacquiao fight, Floyd is too concerned with what Pacquiao will make. I actually believe this now. I am a huge Floyd fan, but it is becoming more and more annoying reading and listening to interviews with him talking about Pacquiao needs his help now and this and that. I'm not saying that Floyd is wrong about that, but for the love of god just fight the damn guy. Floyd is saying he needs to go back and fight Bradley and Marquez... If it were really all about making bank fight the guy that brings you the most $$$. If he isn't on your level, dust him off and keep it moving. IDK, I think he is too worried about Manny's pay check and not his. What do you guys think?

Nah. He's concerned about his health.

He's just a scared fighter, why would we want to watch a scared fighter in him. His problem is he has a mushroom between his legs.
