Floyd wants AB at 140 so Floyd can win back what he lost on betting with AB.

I wonder how much Floyd lose though? .... millions!

Floyd did not brag/show his winning stab this time. :crybaby:

Floyd saying Maidana is on the list of possible opponents for May 2014. I could live with Mayweather vs Maidana; would make for a much more interesting fight compared to Khan.

El Chino hits like a mule; if he manages to land on Floyd cleanly, we all know what can happen. Khan brings nothing to the table other than his has British fan base. Throw Broner vs Garcia on the undercard and you have the makings of a PPV worth buying.

I don't see broner doing very good at 140 because there is some very solid opposition at that weight. Peterson/Matthysse/Garcia all beat him.. Matthysse/Garcia would Ko him if he ever fight because they r very tough and can punch very hard. Broner should see if he can slowly work he's way up from 135lb because to me Paulie beat him too and he should have 3 losses in he's record. All I know is he is just fast and that's it.. He thinks he has defense when he gets hit a lot. Broner is very one dimentional he comes forward and that's it he is horrible fighting backwards and guys at 140 r gona force him to go backwards and fight because they r much stronger than him and can hit way harder. I mean Gavin Reese was connecting on broner at will before broner started to fight back and Reese wasn't even that much of a good fighter at all.. But still manage to give him a fight.. He should take hes next fight very wisely otherwise he may not have a good career and forced to retire sooner than expected.

Well it's good Floyd recognizes that now isn't the best time for a rematch and that it could be bad for his health.

As for May 3... sounds like he just wants to build his undercard

Maidana is also on a four fights winning streak against better opponents than Khan's last two wins against two unknown journeymen. That fight makes more sense than the Khan fight.

Floyd is right. Be a smart move if Broner follows suit.

The problem is that Broner fought two career '40lbers at '47. Paulie is fast with very little power and Maidana is slow with good power and they're both durable guys. Both guys gave him hell. If Matthyse ,Garcia and even Provodinkov are staying at '40 then Broner is gonna catch hell there too.

In June, Broner was the WBC lightweight champion and made a two division leap to 147 to face WBA champion Paulie Malignaggi. He struggled in the fight and won a close twelve round split decision. Last Saturday night in San Antonio, Broner faced top contender Marcos Maidana, who is bigger and much stronger than Malignaggi. Maidana dropped Broner twice and won a wide unanimous decision.

I forgot about that. Fans throwing bottles and stuff at Broner was de****able. That was totally unacceptable.
