Why are all these b itches crying about cotto fighting martinez? Im damn sure that there will be 100x the fireworks in their fight than there was for flaoid vs canelo. Do you guys seriously think that cotto would choose canelo after that bullspit he pulled during the gayweather fight, leaving a bad taste in the publics mouth?

Cotto/Canelo =1.5 million, Cotto/Martinez=600,000ppvs or less
Arum= Stadium for Floyd vs Pac. $13,000,000 offer to Cotto to fight Pac. Cotto denies being offered that by Arum. Arum says Pac will NEVER fight in US again. Next Pac fight in Las Vegas. Arum, "Yesterday I lied, today i'm telling the truth". NEED I SAY MORE. Cotto vs Canelo or Martinez will be an exciting fight either way.

That's $32.4M left. Other 50% for cable/satellite, and thats' 16.2M left from PPV revenue. Gate will be $3M and the cost to rent MSG is $500K, so lets add $2.5M to $16.2M. That's $18.7M. Lets add 1 million for rebroadcast fee, international revenue, and sponsorships. That's 19.7M. Lets subtract 500K for the undercard and 1.2M for advertising/other expenses. That's $18M left over. Martinez gets 5 million and what he pays Dibella is his problem. Thats $13M left over for Arum, Cotto, and NY taxes. Assuming Arum gets 20% and 7.5% for taxes, that's approximately 10M for Cotto without having to pay Martinez $5K.
Am I off somewhere? Surely, I am. But more or less 10M for cotto doesn't sound outrages to me.

Remember how canelo draws huge ratings but then again nobody knows who he is i wonder what would happen if they knew lol
