    1. You'll all buy it, there just aren't enough big fights not to have a piss up for this one and you know your protest won't change anything.

    2. Big ppv fights are mostly bought by casuals and Khan can be sold to casuals.

This is the English wonder kid who won an Olympic Gold medal at 14 who has lightning hands and is a devout ****** to boot and only lost to a couple of lucky punches and a drug cheat. The guy who beat the guy who beat Broner and dominated Paulie and Judah and Barrera with ease.

Now sell Lara, Porter, Thurman to someone who's ever heard of them ?
huh it says he won a silver medal

Casuals bra, they don't care about stuff like that.

Olympic medal as a teenager, beat Barrera, beat Maidana who beat Broner.

It's marketing, the truth is a bystander.

Khan is NOT that popular in the UK at all.

Nowhere near as popular as Hatton - no way 1000's of British fight fans would fly to the US to watch Khan fight.

Also PPV in the UK would not be huge either, most boxing fans I know would not stay awake until 5am to watch Amir Khan get KO'd.

Khan is hugely popular in Pakistan and with UK based Pakistani's, that's is about it in reality.

Khan is very unpopular with the underclass whites in the UK.

He is more appreciated by the educated and higher class white folk as well as by ethic groups.

basically most council trash scum hate his guts but rest think he's exciting boxer.

Perhaps a strong undercard like Garcia-Matthysse on the Mayweather-Canelo ppv will keep it from being a total flop. But otherwise I think it will fail.

There is some small truth in what you are saying.

                But...

Most of the boxing fans I know (and yes, some do live on a Council Estate) feel Khan is highly overrated and too much of a self publicist.

Many successful boxers are raised on Council Estate's in poverty -are you saying that they are all 'underclass scum'?

I didn't know that you had to be a) Educated, b) 'higher class and c) white to hold an opinion on a boxer's ability either...

I've been saying this for months but the yanks on her don't get it.

Khan is a celebrity only and 95% of these much talked about twitter followers don't care/know when or who he last fought, or when and who he will next fight.

They probably just want to see some wedding pictures of his beautiful wife they've seen in OK! ****zine

So khan is more popular than Cotto, Canelo, and Manny Freaking pacquiao because...he has more twitter followers than them. Are you insane?

Here is hattons comeback fight when he lost to floyd, look how huge the crowd is, at 0:53

                    and heres khans after garcia

I rest my case, and there shouldn't even have been a case to begin with
Khan would TKO them all within 8 rounds, ALL those guys are old and rubbish now.

                      Khans not the A side!

                      His popularity doesn't matter.

It's about how many people who don't know **** about boxing have heard of him and how many of those can be convinced this will be a great fight.

And since it will be an all time epic, it's not a hard sell.
