YOUR BUGGIN... this is a competitive fight. Cotto is no slow foot european robot like most of Martinez opponents. Cotto has extremely good foot speed, which is the real reason floyd didnt jump on his bike (dont wanna get caught moving backwards)... not a big difference in hand speed, slight edge to martinez but hes not as fast as you all make him seem... the fact is Sergio will spend the entire fight moving away from Cotto and using angles but hes never dealt with an opponent who has Cotto's speed and skill set. Cotto would also look extremely fast against guys like Macklin, barker, murray, and drunken Pavlik. THOSE GUYS WERE ALL ABLE TO HIT AND DROP SERGIO... does anyone really believe he wont be hit MORE by a faster more skilled Cotto?... do you truly believe that Sergio will be able to counter Cotto at will being that Floyd was only able to land 25% of his shots on Cotto? Is sergio more accurate? Not according to compubox.... in the words of Bernard Hopkins, "Cotto is very underrated defensively, he has very good defense... im picking Cotto to stop Sergio in the middle rounds.

Cotto and Roach are both smart enough to realize they need to attack Sergio differently and with more caution. Jabbing on the way in, changing direction, and moving his head were all things he dispensed with against Rodriguez when he realized Delvin didn't have the power. They'll be there against Sergio and off a year and a half layoff for two major, now recurring, injuries, this is a real fight.

And I know he got KO'd, but not without winning a few rounds and pushing Martinez further than expected. Cotto is better fighter with better defense than Macklin. Did you even read what I wrote or just see that I'm a Cotto fan and just assume everything?
And what did I analyze? That Rodriguez couldn't hurt him? Was pretty plain as day for anyone who watches this sport regularly, which I'm not sure you do now.
Just noticed your Karma bar. Now I get it.

All I know is ... I'm going to have a big fight party. Get drunk and most likely have to watch the fight the next day to remember what happened
