Or Ortiz coming off the Berto win? Remember Berto was an option for Pacquiao at one point when he was undefeated, but Pac cherrypicked Mosley coming off a draw and a loss?
Marg, Clottey, Cotto >>> Ortiz, Berto. Remember welter is Pac's 7th division. Floyd can't even unify at the regulation weight in his 5th, too small.

The lot of (you) fans? You got me confused with someone else kid. If you don't know what you're talking about.........

No actually at the time Berto was ranked higher than Clottey. Margarito wasn't even in the top 10 anywhere.

No matter what Berto turned out to be, the principle of the subject was that Arum, at the time, didn't want anything to do with a young undefeated fighter vs Pacquiao. Ortiz was #3 ranked WW, behind Mayweather and Pacquiao, because he had beaten an undefeated Berto. So both Ortiz and Berto were actually better than Clottey, let alone Margarito.

Pacquiao at WW is his 7th weight class, yet he actually was bigger than Floyd at 130-135, and at 140-147 he is the same exact size as Floyd on fght night(149-151lbs). Yet Floyd fought twice at 154 and once at 152 against #3 ranked DLH, #1 ranked Cotto, and Ring champ Canelo. Pacquiao fought a non-top 10 ranked Margarito at 150lbs for a vacant title.

Floyd is held to much higher standard because he is much better than Pacquiao. Not bigger, not because he's draining himself to make 147, he is the same exact size as Pacquiao and always has been. When Floyd was weighing in at 147-148lbs on fight night in his WW fights, Pacquiao was weighing in at 146lbs on fight night in his SFW fights. They are the same size, Pac could fight at 154 like Mayweather but chooses not to because he is not as good. When Pac was fighting at 106, Floyd was also at 106 in the Golden Gloves.

              Stop with the size BS.

so Ortiz was better than clottey based on one win over overrated berto? clottey beat Judah, beat cotto on my card, and drew with margarito. hmmm yea I wonder who is more proven.....the guy who fought and proved he was an elite fighter regardless of official decisions or the guy who beat an unproven guy. oh the golden boy rankings say Ortiz was better it must be true! also clottey is an innovator of boxing. you see guys like zab Judah, Brandon rios, and joseph agbeko copying his style of fighting. no one copies Ortiz.

Is there a bigger money fight on the Golden Boy roster at 147 than Khan at this moment?

Actually, everyone on this site was criticizing Berto's weak resume.
