The Glasgow Evening Times reports that Ricky Burns' mandatory defense of the WBO lightweight championship will land on February 8th at the Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. The venue holds 13,000 fans. I like Crawford but I really feel that Beltran should get his rematch before this fight takes place. On the flip side if Beltran got his rematch this fight would not be happening. It would be Beltran vs. Crawford cause Burns would be done.

Looking forward to this, but feel bad for Beltran. I hope the winner grants him a shot as he deserves that pay day.
That aside, it'll intetresting to see what Burns has left and if it's enough to deal with Crawford, different style and all.
