This. The only criticism I have with Lara is that he should've tried to finish Trout. I already think he's the best at 154 but him knocking out Trout would've made an unbelievable statement.

Guys, we are not at the roman coliseum. Lara and Trout are humans and probably he felt compassion for his colleague. Last month a Cuban sent a Russian to ICU and is in comma. The only need to beat Trout, not to finish him. If Trout was battling more stronger he can knock out, but was not the case. This is true but the trout/canelo was much closer ,Lara pretty much shut him out. Trout looked traumatized , took him forever to get off the stool in the 12th, the corner bought him 30 sec . I'm sure he was happier with his canelo performance .
