            Im sure you're right and only extreme nuthuggery prevents them from admitting it. Its hard to deny this truth when its staring you right in the face. Nationality has nothing to do with boxing ratings on HBO. Its all about familiarity and excitement.

              It is still somewhat surprising to me as none of the fighters involved were American. This is a growing trend that American fight fans do not necessarily care if the fighters are American or Mexican. They mostly care to see fireworks and HBO's current investment in signing exciting fighters from other lands is paying off.

                    HBO has more subscribers that just want to watch sports. My dad watched it and he didnt know who any of the fighters were. But anyway its good for sport.
