The WBC gave middleweight champion Sergio “Maravilla?Martinez until December 15th to give a status update about his improving health situation, plus when he will be ready to return to fight, and things are looking up. Martinez suffered several injuries after winning a close twelve round decision over undefeated Martin Murray this past April in Argentina. The mandatory challenger to Martinez's title is Marco Antonio Rubio. Sergio is recovering in Madrid where he currently lives.

man I like Sergio but he will get a brutal beating if he fights GGG in 2014. A 2009 Sergio Martinez vs present GGG would be a much much different story though.
