Do you remember when Froch said "as soon as I start landed flush the fight will be over"? He didnt say that basing it on divine luck. Thats usually what happens when Froch starts landing flush check out some of his previous fights. Froch is a master at comeback KO's hes a very slow starter too. This was typical Froch. Not to mention Groves, even though he claims hes not chinny, is in fact pretty chinny. I think he would have been laid out Pacqauio style if that fight continued. He might of been dead.

Does anyone really think Froch WOULDNT have stopped Groves?

I feel like Froch's body attack went unnoticed, Groves was fatigued during that point and I felt it was only a matter of time. The thing is, fighters have come back from far worse so it's unfair to say "Well Froch was on his way to stopping him!". I hope the rematch happens.

Agree totally
Groves really is pretty chinny, in the first 3-4 rounds froch landed basically no power shots, then in about round 5 he started to land 1 or 2 punches and when he did you could see groves knees dip even though he was still getting hit with nothing
in round 9 froch landed about 3 or 4 shots and groves was running all over the place with his head down and his arms by his sides, it was all over for him
I've said before boxing is not "look good for 5 rounds and you win the fight" Groves looked good but as soon as he started taking just a few shots he was falling apart, he was no longer elusive and was going to get finished in short order

Believe me I saw the body shots, IDK how watt was missing them, you could hear the shots. I had the fight only 1 point for Groves, so it a decision win for Froch wasn't even out of the question for me...yet I still wanted the fight to continue. Grudge match, Big buildup, great crowd, all the drama, Damn near even card for me, both fighter now have been hurt...it was just getting started!
If health was really the concern then I'd rather Groves only have to go through deep water hell with Froch once, than now have to go through it twice. I like his ability but The rematch is going to be very difficult for him IMO

You can see when he got him hurt he saw the stoppage was there for him. But got a bit too overzealous from the pressure of the moment. He got the stoppage anyway, but I feel like if he controlled his punches better at the point of hurting Groves, he could of had a no-doubter that round.
I agree with this as well, I mean it was amateurish and he looked extremely uncoordinated.
