Comments Thread For: Roach: The More I Watch Rios, The Worse He Gets!

Trainer Freddie Roach is not impressed with Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23KOs), who faces Roach's fighter, Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38KOs), on Saturday night in Macau, China. Roach does not view Rios as a skilled fighter. He feels Pacquiao will overwhelm Rios and finish him off in the early rounds, actually within four rounds, with a vicious knockout.

Roach selected Rios as Pacquiao's comeback opponent, because Rios will stand in front of Pacquiao and he doesn't have the best defense.

its depressing to read anything that roach says. so now boxers win fights roach? and finally admitting that rios has no defense. thats the main reason that they cherry picked rios. rios blocks punches with his face. this fight is designed to make pacquiao look good again.but his chin is on the moon.via marquez

I agree. Pacquiao does not deserve a tune up fight. His come back fight should have been against Golovkin

Coming from an arch floydgimp, thats just incredible. The fanbase universally regarded as the ******est, most racist and least knowledgeable calling other fans out for their lack of knowledge..you couldnt make that **** up!

This is a missmatch. Rios canīt handle fighters with footspeed. He squares of in front of Manny and starts brawling, but there will be no target to hit. Pacman just need to let Rios come to him. Let him running into big shots. Rios is not a smart fighter and only knows one way to fight. Thatīs way too little against a fighter with better technic, footspeed, handspeed and power.
Pacman vs GGG? are you kidding me? Have you ever heart about weight-divisions and why they actual make sense?
Pacman vs Hopkins? You must be crazy! Whoīs next? Klitschko?
