he was not the heavy favorite. the odds were nearly even and that was only because calzaghe was seen as a senchenko like fraud not because lacy was some great fighter. have you seen lacy's fights before he fought calzaghe? utterly terrible fighter. got outboxed by guys like rubin williams and syd vanderpool till getting favorable stoppages. life and death with omar sheika. clubbed robin reid behind the head 7 times to score "knockdowns" these things don't scream out skill! more like hype! please explain how lacy was a good fighter? based on what? resume? nope he beat one top ten guy his entire career. performances? nope he struggled against bums. people wanted him to be good but he wasn't. that doesn't make it a good win for calzaghe.Originally posted by Sn1 View PostComment
