If Ward wants to bolster his legacy, he has to look northward. Beating Stevenson or Kovalev at light heavy (outside California) will do that. Waiting on GGG, no.
Before that, school Jr. strictly for the money. Rematch Froch in the UK for more money. He's got to remain active because his fights aren't exciting enough to keep him in the minds of casual boxing fans.

Rodriguez has a better resume than GGG, can you imagine what GGG fans would be saying if it was him that blitzed Grachev in round 1? My god, the hype would be unreal. Rodriguez did it against a guy with wins over LHW's in Sillakh, Erdei, and probably should've beaten Bute as well.
Yet here Ward was, coming off shoulder surgery and 14 months off to dominate him with ease.

As a boxing fan u have to respect ward an his career i like ggg dont get me wrong but he hasnt fought nobody in my eyes his resame is good but farrrrr from wards.
Ward not only fights the best in his division an wins easy he just went up an beat a champion like he was sparring.
I dont think either are scared but ward dont need that fight ggg desperatly needs to fight a real contender.

I am okay if they never fight. Ward might be too big. I don't need GGG's career stalled by losing a wide UD to Ward, and he would lose. There's nothing GGG brings to the table that Ward hasn't seen.
I just don't to hear the "everyone ducks" GGG crowd. I seriously worry about the mental health of some posters if GGG ever loses.

GGG needs to stay put and work towards unifying all the belts the way Hopkins did. Fight Martinez if you have to face a slick, elusive fighter.

Lol at least he entertains the possibility of a fight with Golovkin. Which is a fight against a smaller guy. But that isn't the as bad as trying to cherry pick Canelo and Cotto like Sergio is doing. He has called out Chavez Jr of course. But you don't duck a guy who's the top fighter in your division to fight smaller guys just because they have a fan base. The kinda hate for Ward is the kinda venom that should be directed toward Sergio.

Ummm Golovkin has said ANYONE from 154 and up... He has to call specific names now?
Sounds to me like Ward is just talking **** and when the talk gets going he's gonna find a way out.
