floyd really had no intention to fight 154 guys unless there's a catchweight.

it's true he fought dela hoya and cotto at full 154 but those guys were not career light MW. oscar started fighting at 130 just like floyd and cotto at 135. like floyd they rose through the weights and by the time they were at 154 they're already past their primes.

he then fought canelo but at a catchweight and the promise of a big purse. those 2 has to be present, catchweight and lots of money. unfortunately, trout and lara doesn't bring any big following but for sure they will agree to a catchweight just to get a shot at floyd.
