I got Danny. Danny beat Judah, decent enough, but he was supposed to get plastered by Matthysse, and beat him quite convincingly. GGG beat no one special, Bradley has Marquez in a 50/50 and a ****** fight with Provodnikov and Floyd did what he does. No one had a special victory except Danny

Whatever Donaire says, somebody will surely trash him for it. If he says he wants to rematch Rigo, he is "delusional" and "writing a check his skills can't cash". If he mentions possible opponents other than Rigo, he is "scared of Rigo" and "ducking a rematch".

Donaire is one fascinating fighter. It's the second time he has done the impossible. First he ducked a fighter and fought him at the same time, and now he is scared of him and mistakenly believes he can beat him in a rematch at the same time.

I knew this bs was coming (article). So before the Darchinyan fight, everyone said, Vic is 37, slow, past his prime, this and that, easy win for Donaire because Nonito prepared well, better weight division for him, reunited with his father, no shoulder injury (all these crappu excuses t o justify Donaire loss to Rigo) And when I said it was going to be a competitve fight, noone believed me. So now, when Vic was clowinng (look at Donaires face) him all 8 rounds with an excellwnt strategy, proving again that the first ko victory was in fact a fluke, boxing press and Hbo commentators excluding Roy Jones, were not talking about Vic succees in dealing with Nonito for the 8 rounds (that Vic whose odds were 9 to 1 against him) but rather how Nonito looked bad and asking why Darchinyan is not throwing many punches ( ****** ***s, Vic told many times before the fight, that hes gonna be patient and counter him).So You know what, STFU.

Simple strategy when fighting Nonito. Just wait and counter.

The way Vic fought Nonito the first time is the way he fought everyone back then; he loaded up the left for a devastating punch that would send his opponents to the canvas. Nonito knew that, waited for it and countered with his own monster left hook. That's not a fluke, that's recognizing a glaring fault and capitalizing on it. The second time around, Vic used a different strategy; he BOXED. It worked for most of the fight, but his awkward style left him out of a defensive position and open for Donaire's left hook once again. Let's not forget, Vic's no slouch. So what do you call the outcome of this fight? Vic mimicked Guillermo's strategy, and though it worked for most of the fight, it ultimately failed. Doniare loses one fight to a very good Cuban fighter, and suddenly he's easy to beat? Cuban fighters are renouned for lengthy amateur careers before turning pro, so there's probably little that Rigondeaux hasn't seen before. But, everyone isn't as good as Rigondeaux. Donaire admitted he never even studied him before the fight. This was a classic case of underestimating the opponent. A rematch is in order, which will show whether Donaire is a boxer who learns from his mistakes, or if Rigondeaux is just the better of the two.

I get you there, but Garcia got in that short, weird right cross on Lucas' right eye. The resulting cut changed the fight decidedly in Garcia's favor. I'd like to see a rematch. BTW, Judah gave Danny hell for the last three rounds, and we know Zab's past his prime. Keep an eye out for GGG next year. Bradley is just overrated to me. I want to see Pacquiao beat Rios, and then destroy Bradley in a rematch. You have to hand it to Floyd, to be able to do what he does at his age, especially to the "next big thing" in Canelo. Mayweather is a special, rare talent.

Agreed, his pretty young wife probably can't wait for him to hang up the gloves and come home for good. I'd like to see him make a little more of a splash before he gives up boxing though. At least show us that he can adjust to Rigondeaux to prove to the nay-sayers that he's more than a one-dimensional fighter.

Man Nonito Donaire is aight. But there's a reason he didn't look so good vs Darchinian. Because he was use to fighting a bunch of scared scrubs. All those guys he beat were unknown in the US, undersized, or old and over the hill. His best victory I seen was Mathebula.

Soon as he faced a real challenge he couldnt hang. He's always making excuses. He talked bull**** about a shoulder injury and how he felt it wasn't what Rigondeaux did. Man please. He whipped yo ass man.

Vic slipped up. It was a good fight but Nonaire won. Cool. But a rematch with Rigondeaux should be the last thing on his mind after admitting Darchinian hit him and it felt like he broke his cheek bone. He gotta revamp somethin in his defense quick.

One thing that you should notice. Nonito is not lightning quick. He can be countered. And his chin isn't that good. He needs to revamp his defense to make up for his chin. A few people at 126 that can hit harder than Vic.
