Donaire calls out Rigondeaux but thats nothing new he will SAY anything but wont follow throw he will ofc say it only happens if at the weight he wants which is the same as saying i dont want the fight lol thats no call out you wanna face the super champ you go to his weight class.

Darchinyan fought 1,000 times better than I expected.

After the Magomed incident, i'd say this was a good stoppage. With the incident lingering around boxing, we will see more refs stop fights early which for now, is good. We do not need any more serious injuries. A month ago I would have it was a bit premature, but this was good.

As far as Donaire's performance goes, Rigondeaux was right with what he said in his post fight interview after he schooled Donaire "Con un golpe no se gana la pelea." You don't win a fight with one punch. At least not against a high caliber fighter. In this case it took Donaire 9 rounds to get his punch but you can still see it was the same exact Donaire that got schooled by Rigondeaux who was looking for one punch.

It was definitely the same Donaire - probably even a little bit less, being that his confidence wasn't as high. He definitely didn't look too sharp. Rigo would school him again.

Initially thought it was an early stoppage but upon the replay it was a good stoppage. That uppercut disguised as an overhand right hit him clean. Solid win for Donaire but he was definitely losing on the cards.
