Comments Thread For: Mundine on Mosley Showdown: It's Kill or Be Killed!

Anthony Mundine has confirmed American boxing great Shane Mosley will return to Australia to meet him in a rescheduled fight in Sydney on November 27.

Mundine and his manager Khoder Nasser announced the bout to be staged at Allphones Arena on Thursday, after the pair guaranteed Mosley a $1 million purse upfront.

It comes just over two weeks after the former three-time world champion Mosley walked out the day before the initial fight on October 23, citing a breach of contract by then-promoter Vlad Warton in not paying the remainder of his guaranteed purse in advance.

It would be nice if they called the bout 'Highlander' and the winner got to behead the loser.

It's really nothing to brag about if he beats Mosley. Mosley is wayyyyy past his prime.

Kill or Be Killed? Absolutely cheap promotion especially given the recent events, but what can you expect from a steroid cheat and ********* sympathizer.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think this could be a good fight.

Mosley doesn't run away from fighters, he can take a punch and he'll let his hands go even when behind.

Mundine seems to be in the same ballpark as him as far as where they are in their careers skill wise too.

This obviously isn't Mosley in his prime, or anywhere near it (same for Mundine), but these guys should put on a good show.

I wouldn't pay money to see it, but if it's on HBO or Showtime or some other channel, I would absolutely tune in and expect a good show.

This, to me, is equal to a solid undercard fight and there's no shame in that.
