People need to quit hating on Stevens. He's 5'7 FFS. Golovkin is an excellent fighter, but he needs names on that resume.

I said that after GGG beats Stevens they will they he beat a noname... And so on.

I mean I never heard of Stevens before he fought triple g, so you might have a point there but with that said triple g is still an excellent fighter!

You're the one full of b.s. there Bub. The trash talk IS a part of boxing. Ali, Haye, Broner, the list goes on and on, thousands of fighters have done it thru the years, many have went a he!!uva lot further than Stevens went with it. This isn't rasslin'. Here, they go into the ring after the publicity generated from trash talk, and do a legit fight.

I think that's what you can't take away from him. He talked trash sure...but he fought. He didn't haye it up in the ring. He gave a good account of himself and lost...but he didn't talk trash then fight terribly or make excuses... respect to him for that.

one of those nights when a fighter proves himself more in defeat than he has in all his victories. he earned the fight with his mouth and hardly anyone gave him a chance of going past 3, but he showed up to fight and put up a great performance.

i was impressed by his defense, keeping in mind he is an offensive fighter and just how good golovkin is at picking and placing his shots. showed great punch resistance too and obviously a huge heart. golovkin was just better than him in all areas, stevens has a good amateur background, ggg has a great one. stevens has very good power, golvkins is better. what really bothered him was the footwork of golovkin which was tremendous as always.

stevens fought his heart out though and takes the loss like a man afterwards, nothing but respect for the man. looking forward to seeing him against some of the other top MWs like geale, sturm or one of the brits.

Not much to say now and still won't give Golovkin props. This makes him a sore loser. The fight was pretty one-sided why is everyone actling like it was close or even a good fight? It was a good performance by Golovkin plain and simple. Stevens and Rosado should fight. The winner can fight the winner of Jacobs vs Quillin.

I've just seen the fight and I have to give Steven's credit for a brave effort. He was just way out of his depth.
