I take prime wins over Cotto, Barrera, Morales and Marquez over anything Floyd has done. Period.

But when it's an advantage for him, then he wants catchweights! The Marquez decisions could've gone either way and Marquez cleared it up in the end. Cotto was NOT the same Cotto as Roach admitted. You can be "prime" and if you've had your confidence taken do not fight "prime". If Pac was so confident he beat a prime Cotto, why wouldn't he fight him over 150 where Floyd did?

I could say the same about you with Floyd. I don't question his resume at the lower weights. But 147 after Cotto is VERY overrated. Hell, the moment I heard about the Cotto fight, I said to myself "this is a mismatch and it ain't for Cotto". Whether you like it or not, FLOYD not Pac will go down as the greater fighter and the best fighter of the era!

That's what I'm saying. Roach and Manny said they didn't want to fight Mosley after Margarito. Shane went to the Wild Card gym and Roach told him no to his face. Roach even tried to get Mosley at 141 or some BS like that AFTER he fought Oscar at 147 and when Mosley asked why fight Oscar at 147 and not him. Roach reply was because Shane was not Oscar. DUCK!

Here is their logic;

Oscar was healthy moving down an entire weight class he hadn't made in nearly a decade.

Alvarez was completely drained because he had to lose 2 pounds for the CW. Ironically they missed that Alvarez didn't even weigh 154 for the weigh-in vs Trout.

To top it off, these people expect GGG to drop down an entire weight class to fight Floyd at JMW without once suggesting he would be drained.

It's clear to see the double standards and not even worth your time by pointing it out to them.

First of all,..

Pacquiao has to look very sharp versus Rios....
By sharp I mean. Still has about 90% or > of his handspeed.
His punches are sharp and accurate,..especially the left hand money shot.
Must have some Defensive Responsibility.
Footwork must have some "Zip" in it.
Must throw combinations.
Must demonstrate capacity to take a shot.

If all those boxes get checked.
Then they should fight.
I feel with that being said,....the fight should be made for May of 2014.
