I'm in the camp that doesn't think this fight will happen. 2009 was the one and only real negotiation and imo, I think Arum killed that negotiation to protect Pac because he knows Floyd is too good. And Floyd's 40 million dollar offer without going through Arum and without PPV money was a joke. Pac should have freagin agreed to that and just taken the money.
Hope I'm wrong and they do fight while they are still both somewhat relevant and at the top of the game. Once they leave Boxing there will be no legitimate PPV stars out there. and the sport will experience a dramatic decline with fan interests.

Even Roach said that. Hell, they said Mosley was "too good" and openly ducked him.
Like I said years ago, Bob didn't want the fight. However he is BOB ARUM and when he wants a fight, he gets a fight. The problem is, Mayweather has never been on his agenda. When he's completely done milking Manny, we might see something different.
What's next, Mayweather would demand 80% and no PPV to Pacquiao to make it happen? hahahhaa
Wouldn't surprise me if Pac keeps losing to guys who don't even fight at WW. The fact that Pac turned down 50-50 years ago will only make Floyd want to make Pac beg for a fight when his career turns to **** aka loses back to back to back.
