If that truly is his gameplan, he's not beating Pacquiao (assuming he's the same fighter).

It sounds like he's just talking the fight up. I expect him to use his movement more carefully the second time around against Manny. Looking forward to the rematch, hopefully Tim can get a win clean this time.

When Pac fought Bradley, it was at a point where people around were criticizing Pac for always having to press the action and chase his opponents. "Pac is the title holder, he's the superstar, why not let his opponent come forward, instead, and chase the belt?"

Pac was in a dilemma in the Pac/JMM 3 fight. The game plan was to do exactly that - let JMM come in, then Pac counters. Prior to the fight he's seen being slammed on the ropes in his sparring sessions. JMM didn't come forward. It was a disappointment. They didn't want another controversial win.

In the Bradley fight you could see Pac wanting to come forward but you could hear Buboy yelling, "Don't chase him, let him come to you!" The result was another disappointment. People thought he won, but it's not decisive like Pac would have wanted. People around him thought they should just have let Pacquiao be Pacquiao. So he did in the JMM 4. It was the careless Pacquiao that showed up.

Pacquiao could've hurt this dude real bad in the first fight. But for whatever reason (which I'm not gonna get into) he let him off the hook.

Pacman can really hurt guys if he wanted to, when he loads up on his power shots, like he did with Hatton, but for some reason if he pities you he throws arm combos fast arm punches that sting, he won't load up like Lucas Mattysse does or thurman, Pacman had a tragedy when he was younger and explains why he has eased off opponents.
              -----------------------------------------------------

Pacquiao is accustomed to adversity. Having shrugged off the poverty of his childhood he has also been confronted with personal tragedy: a close friend from General Santos, Eugene Barutag, collapsed and died after an eight-round fight at a time when Pacquiao’s own career was still in its infancy.

It was a desolate experience but, unlike many of his contemporaries, it never for a moment made him consider his future in the sport, even if it did make him alter his treatment of an opponent he was dominating in the ring.

“When Eugene died some of my other friends quit boxing because they were scared but I didn't quit boxing because I wasn’t scared,” he said. “But it does affect you. Now, sometimes I take it easy when I am controlling the fight because boxing is not about you kill somebody, you don't need to kill somebody to win. In 2009, when I fought Miguel Cotto, he was badly hurt and I thought I had hurt him enough, so I eased off.”

Game plan is to bite down on my mouth piece and I’m taking it right to you from round 1 and we are going to war.
It’s plan and simple, I’m going to war this time, without a doubt in my mind, I’m going straight at him and I’m attacking him from every angle. I’m always going to have my great defense, I’m always going to use my defensive skills and my foot work to get out of range, but for the most part I’m going forward, I’m coming to get him".
Yea and if he isn't completely shot, Pacquiao knocks his head off if he fights like that. You just cannot beat Pacquiao with the Ricky Hatton gameplan.

Alright, so I trolled a bit in this thread to ruffle some feathers. But if bradley does decide to fight PAC in this manner I think it would be a barnburner!!
Tim goes on to say in this interview that he doesn't believe he would get a decision in china so why not go balls out! I think bradley is just crazy enough to try this approach......

                      I like Tim Bradley

                      What excuse?

Pac eased off Barrera in the rematch too. Its clear he eased off of Bradley when he had Bradly trapped a few times he thought he could do what Floyd does and just box a decision and still win.

He eased off Margarito everyone saw that **** with their own eyes he kept looking back at the ref to stop the fight.

Pacman is not a violent person, even Roach said it and during the Agapito sanchez fight instead of fighting back dirty he just tried o fight harder, Pacman doesn't fight guys back dirty he is a pretty good sportsman.
