Quillin was hurt several times during the fight and the cut inflicted on rosado was severe to say the least. Methodical counterpuching on behalf of quillin had influenced the judges throughout the fight, although late momentem on behalf of rosado prior to the stoppage, created a sense of dissatisfaction via the ruckus crowd attending the bout.

I thought it was close but had quillin ahead....I've been ragging on him a bit in a few threads but quillin has great snap in his punches

The crowd was a few too many douche bags. They booed Quillin coming in and out. Who does that ****. One time I will hate on Philadelphians a bit lol

Just caught a couple of rounds before the fight was stopped, but by the look of Rosados face maybe there was some padding taken out of Quillins gloves, LOL

Felt he was ahead in the fight and should've been allowed to fight on until at least the end of the round to see how he deals with the cut.

Also, the judges' scorecards were nothing short of a disgrace , absolutely disgusting.

I agree with you 100%..,terrible job by the judges,this is starting to become the part of a prize fight im really starting to hate..im used to expecting controvercy in every high profile fight now and it aint right!!boxing aint going nowhere soon,but with stuff like this happening it might happen eventually..PROMOTERS(TOP RANK)AND JUDGES ARE WHATS LEAVING A BAD TASTE IN THE MOUTHS OF US LOYAL BOXING FANS!

I hear you, but just to point out this was a GBP affair, not TOP RANK (though I'm not about to say they are any better).

Thing is, Gabe was never supposed to win the fight, anyone who saw the Rosado - JLL debacle knew what would happen. Gabe's a good solid fighter, but hasn't (specially at 160) got real KO power. He was supposed to be an 'opponent' for Quillin, but once again showed real grit, and also that he is both improving as a fighter and growing into the MW division.

I wasn't impressed with the GGG comments, but it's hard not to root for a guy who comes to fight every time. Still, I guess you do cut sometimes then doncha Gabe?

What I liked most: Quillin walking directly into Rosado's right hook to the chin, at the end of the 4th round.

I've noticed that Quillin practically displays no head movement.
Alvarez should start his middleweight career with him.

1. The Knockdown was legit, but circumstantial. If there legs were not locked up, Rosado would not have gone down. Thats his fault, but lets not pretend he was hurt.

3. That is debatable. The cut was caused by a punch, but the TKO was clearly politically motivated.

We can go through and list fighters who have fought entire fights with worse cuts. Fights are suppose to be stopped when an injury impairs a fighters ability to defend himself. Despite its placement, the cut wasn't bleeding into his eye. It actually wasn't even bleeding all the much.

1. There was no argument from the commentators, the corner or even Rosado! It was a clear knock down no discussion there
2. I saw Kid land hard left hooks on Rosado and looking at Rosados face towards the end of the fight was clear he had taken some good shots
3. Again I don't see how anyone can argue a punch caused the cut...the doctor ruled the stoppage not the ref or the judges
Maybe next time they should have a doctor less squimish bc the moment the doc saw that cut he was like oh hell no stop the fight!! The cut was nasty
Also a flick would've caused that cut to gush out blood now imagine a punch
