Featherweight prospect Braulio Santos got a first-round technical knockout of David Clark shortly after scoring a knockdown on Clark with a left hook. Clark rose, but he didn’t last much longer afterward. The referee soon stepped in and halted the action 1 minute and 49 seconds into the round.

Santos, 23, of Carolina, Puerto Rico, improves to 11-1 with 10 KOs and gets his first win back since a June decision loss to Derrick Wilson. Clark, 29, of Los Angeles, is now 6-3 (4 KOs).

    - In the show’s opener, Dominic Wade blitzed Roberto Ventura, knocking him down three times en route to a first round stoppage.

The time of the stoppage was 2 minutes and 8 seconds into the round. Wade found quick success with a left hook followed by a right hand. [Click Here To Read More]

Nothing but a bunch of setup blowouts!!! At least they could have put ShoBox quality fights on the undercard like fighters 15-0 going against 18-1 fighters or 13-0 fighters going against 16-0 fighters. The earlier televised undercard on Showtime Extreme was downright pathetic.

Nothing to brag about. Another bum he knocked out. Whoopdy doo...

This guy has no legs. He won't go the distance if he fights klitscho...because that's where klitscho will take him in the later rounds.

Wilder has no balance and is stiff as a board. His legs act like stilts that barely keep him up. Nothing to see here.

firtha is a tough guy but wilder has some serious power. he also has some serious flaws. he is #3 in the WBC but I think stiverne (WBC #1) & arreola (WBC #2) beat him. if stiverne hits wilder with that punch he hit arreola with in the 3rd it would be lights out. too many unanswered questions at this point...

Wilder has promise but he needs a lot of polishing. His defense is suspect, his jab is inconsistent, he looks for the right hand too much and his balance needs work. He needs another year of busy activity before he'll be ready to face a Klitchko.

The kid is on the Gorge Foreman plan, when Gorge was coming up he was fighting similar opponents whacking them out building confidence and getting experience due to his limited am experience.

If i was handling this kid I would have him doing the same thing, hell even i have twice the number of am fights that Wilder had.

And everybody that does not like it certainly should not watch him, but i find it entertaining, I like punchers.

Foreman fought George Chuvalo in his 16th fight and Joe Frazier in his 30th. He is long overdue for stepping it up.

Firtha had lost 3 of his previous 5. And the two he won had a combined 50-46 record. He lost a DECISION to Povetkin about 5 fights back, in Povetkin's last fight before he won the vacant title.

Very reminiscent of Sam Peter's early built up set of cripples and palookas. At the time I said that they had to lean against the ropes to stay upright. It seems that Wilder's opponents are some of the same.

Still, he is huge and has (presumably) genuine KO power.
