Comments Thread For: Arum Says Pacquiao Could Be Better Than Ever on 11/23

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum believes that the Manny Pacquiao fight fans will see when he faces former world champion Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios at the Cotai Arena of the plush Venetian Hotel and Casino in Macau on November 24 will be better than ever before.

Arum who has been in General Santos City watching Pacquiao train under the watchful eyes of Hall-of-Fame trainer Freddie Roach said "You are going to see a Manny Pacquiao that is perhaps even better than the Pacquiao we saw against (Oscar) De La Hoya, (Ricky "The Hitman") Hatton and (Miguel) Cotto."

Of course, this will be a slightly more durable David Diaz. I expect no less than to see the 2004-2010 Pacquiao that night, given the opponent standing in front of him.

Sorry, no disrespect to BR, but styles make fights and Rios is made for Pacquiao.

I don't think he'll be "better than ever" but he still has enough in the tank to reclaim his rightful spot at #1 P4P

Pac is too good to NOT come back strong

Rios is a tough SOB, but Pac still got it.

                  This is an interesting fight.

I like what Rios says about how Manny's time is up and how Rios compares himself, his position and his motivation to the young Pacquiao when he was coming up, and how this is Brandon's time to take the torch.

This will be an awesome fight and a impressive beatdown, Manny can do it all against Rios and will look verry impressive destroying him! Thats exactly what he needs to get the Manny-Train started again. Because everyone will shout for a Pacman vs. Mayweather fight again!
