Actually regular champ most of the time is what you'd consider champ, since in most divisions regular is all you have, and super champs have a much less frequent mandos. It makes sense here since they know Floyd likely won't fight a mando, so they reward the top contenders. But they'll probably declare the interim belt vacant asap.

Where'd you hear this from? This is certainly not the case. In most divisions, there aren't regular/super champs, just the normal WBA champion. Where there are regular/super titles, the Super belt is pretty much the champ for the WBA. The 'Regular' one is just a glorified mandatory.

Did you know, the WBA got this idea from Lennox Lewis? I don't think he wanted this disgrace though

Gotta love these bogus title belts nowadays...you're either the "regular", "super", "interim", "half-assed", "runner up", "not this time" champion of the world...and that's just for one belt. How many titles do we have? WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, etc...smh

Regular champ just means champ. Then you may or may not have a super champ, who doesn't have to defend against mandos at a normal schedule.
