We can all speculate and come up with conspiracy theories why he hasn't left Bob yet. But if you look at what floyd and ODH began to earn when they left TR its safe to say manny has "lost" or "left" $30-50 mil on the table.
I agree with this. Arum tried to guarantee Mayweather/Cotto a fight for like 6-7 million dollars each.

When Floyd and Cotto actually fought they made double and quadruple that.

JMM lands clean & drops Pac...lucky punch or Pac wasn't hurt.

Pac lands & makes JMM glove touch...oh JMM was so hurt, out on his feet blah blah blah!
Not a manny diehard fan, however re watch the fight again, that's the best I've seen pacquiao since the Mosley fight

Pacquiao was hurt when he was knocked down the first time, but he recovered, staggered JMM (correctly ruled a knockdown because the glove touched the canvas) badly, and was likely on his way to a stoppage win when he got caught. I'm the same as you, not a diehard fan, but that's what I saw.

I see no one aknowledged what I previously said. The first and only proper negotiations fell threw because Pacquiao's team refused the conditions of more stringent testing. 50/50 purse, ring size, gloves, and weight penalties were all agreed. Saying: "Ahhhhh but Pacquiao agreed after". What was the point in agreeing AFTER the fight falls through? Better yet, Pacquiao "agrees" or "has no problem" with extra testing but only enters the program after getting flattened.

The 40 mil guarantee offer was BS in the sense that Mayweather would've made more. But how much did Mayweather make in relation to De La Hoya? How much were Pacquiao's team trying to lure Marquez into the ring again for, after knocking Pacquiao out? 50/50? I don't get anything out of arguing about money, but acting like it means nothing to some boxers is rubbish. I believe that both fighters were happy enough to ride their own gravy trains and make money without taking that risk and we lost out because of it.

fraud jr and his team totally agree with this thread. until now with pac 2 losses they're still sure that pac still a big threat to fraud's well matched undefeated record.

            scared biatch...

That would seem to be the closest thing to the truth, Marv.

Neither guy was "scared" of the other, but each side played mind games trying to get the best deal. They were never really that close to getting into the ring with one another.

Me too. Even if both are past their prime, it still would be one of those all-time great fights and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

One thing we can agree on, it is THE fight that most people would pay above all others.

Pacquiao may still have what it takes to make a good fight of it (we have to see his next fight or two). But I always get a good laugh out of internet geeks calling those that fight for a living.... "coward".

Funny you mention Hatton. Hatton is one that has been one of the less diva-like stars in recent memory. Manny was going to cancel the fight with a week to go unless Hatton would give up 2% of PPV revenue so Pac could have the bigger split lol!

                      honour my arse!
Funny that people are still mentioning this. Comparing Pacman's drawing power to Hatton is apples and oranges. I'm even surprised Pacman even gave Hatton that kind of split. Look at where Hatton and Pacman are now even when Pacman himself got Hattonized.

Why some people are this ****** is beyond me.
