Former eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao was sparring hard at the Wild Card Gym in Gen. Santos City. He put in several rounds with Filipino sparring partner Dan Nazareno Jr. and Ghanaian Frederick Lawson, then took part in the some padwork and then refereed a couple of sparring matches between members of the entourage. His brother Bobby Pacquiao got 30,000 pesos for winning his sparring bout, with the judges Michael Koncz and Gerry Penelosa.

I've been extra hard on Manny in recent years...Mostly bc of Roach & Floyd & the politics of boxing in general. But people honestly forget wut it means to be an ATG. that means in "any era" that man would do work. People also forget in eras past..that great champions have been knocked out...more than once even. Only to return to form and or dominance.

I will admit that the grit that the greats of the past was forged by the time periods they've lived in. & right now we r living in the least rugged time period in human history. But Manny isn't cut from today's cloth. He literally comes from the gutter. I don't think that spirit..that essence can ever truly fly out of a man. No matter how "Hollywood" their life becomes.

& judging by the nature & quality of these pics...Pacquiao to return to form. Brandon rios will put up a spirited & determined effort. But pacquiao looks strong very early. I fully expect Pac to slice thru brandon like a buzz saw. This will be a brutal fight.

Dang look at how huge Pac's calves are compared to that black guys twig legs. Pacman has a very odd body he is built like a short compact muscular pit bull. he has wide bones, most Chinese people I seen have skinny narrow bone structures, similar to the black guys ankles.
