But also, Tyson was very fast moving in, and its difficult to hit a smaller guy who moves his head as well as Tyson did.

I think Tysons chin was good enough, and he would find opportunities to land flush on Wlad either with counters, or on the inside when Wlad occasionally tries to punch. Wlad has never seen anything like a prime Tyson.
