I like Cotto in this fight. Cotto is strong & overall is a better boxer then Hatton. I don't see Hatton knocking Cotto out, but I do see Cotto stopping Hatton.
Cotto wins by KO-- His defense will be much tighter and he'll target his punches better and with more power---- Thats right, I said it------ Cotto by KO---
Im gonna guess that you're Puerto Rican. The biasedness continues. Give legitimate, fundamental reasons why you feel Cotto would stand a chance, other than that it's obviously ethnic bias.
Cotto's defense will be better in this fight. Miguel will out box hatton then bring him down with a body shot. Cotto will be smarter in this fight than in previous fights.
Sell more tickets doesn't necessarily mean make more money. Every one knows big time is New York. That's just the fact. Plus there is a much bigger TV audience here, why show it on mancheester time?
The fight with Hatton can basically define what COtto's career will end up into.
If he beats Hatton in KO fashion, then he's on track for a showdown with PBF to decide who's the best.
but right now, COtto has too many raw moves which he has to polish.
Cotto cannot expect to stand up to Hatton and expect to win. It has be a something new and something unexpected. He can't beat the master of pressure offense in his own game.
The only way Cotto can stop Hatton is on cuts, Ricky is too strong to eb stopped any other way. Cotto has a dubious chin, but not a really fragile one as some people make out, but he'd still quite probably be stopped late on, probably by a straightforward KO instead of a ref stoppage. Cotto would be too macho and would be forced into a war, on win.e Hatton would probably
I don't think Cotto is a focused fighter at the moment, something just seems to be derailing his progress, and that is a shame as he has bags of talent.
I just have a feeling Hatton doesn't have heart and is inclined to quit when Cotto puts a whoopin on his ass.

Cotto's very technical and has a good defense...but he can get hit and I think his once granite chin has gotten a few cracks from his previous fights.
Corley got lucky with that punch on Cotto, IMO. Too bad he can't finish. If that was Hatton, Cotto would have been saved by the ref via TKO. Wasn't Cotto also wobbled a few times by a relativly unkown fighter a few months ago?

I agree with a lot of what you said except for the part that Hatton can only be stopped on cuts. I believe Hatton's weakness is the body. As we all know Cotto is notorious for hitting to the body.

so is hatton and hatton hits to the body harder than cotto
