Floyd and a Welterweight version of Toney would make Broners defense look like SHT. It's now how good a defense looks against lower comp, its how it looks against great fighters.
I agree, Floyd and James' defense would make Adrien's defense look bad but it doesnt mean that he doesnt fight like them. He does just on a lesser scale. But comparing him to Berto? I never seen Berto use his shoulder roll til his last 2 fights and he got his ass beat doing it. Cant say the same about Broner. Adrien has never been KO'd, dropped or rocked while Berto has been.

Look at the way Berto fights on the inside, he doesnt use the shoulder roll on the inside while Adrien does. Andre just puts both his hands up. Adrien moves his head far better then Berto. I just dont see that comparison at all.

I like Berto but his style is nothing like Broners until he started imitating it his last 2 fights which got him his ass handed it to him. Broner uses the shoulder roll/defensive style for sometime now, not something he picked up 2 fights ago like Berto.

Toney is an exceptional fighter but it doesnt mean Broner doesnt fight like him. He does, just not at his level thats all. Sorry I just dont see any comparison between Berto and Broner outside of their quick hands.
Put up a poll....I guarantee you people will pick that he looks more like Berto than Toney. And it is not about Reese or Pauli stunning Broner, it is about how easy it is to hit him, something you missed altogether. Broner has never been in those situations that Berto has been in because he has never fought anyone with Weltwerweight power and that is why he has not even proven a defense or lack of against the same guys Berto has. The hardest hitter Broner has faced was against a Featherweight De Leon and that hardly counts. Put up a poll and you will see Berto is chosen over Toney as a comparison. No one is saying he fights exactly like anyone but I have watched Toney since he was a middleweight contender. No comparison to me. Like I said, put up a poll.

You're right, I agree but richardt seems to think Broner and Berto fight alike. Berto will never be as good as Broner no matter what the age is.

It always comes down to race on this forum. You can almost tell a poster's race based on their posts. (I'm looking at your Franky Baby.)

Except for Maxy. He has no race.

Hey, Im not the thread starter so youre asking the wrong guy to start a poll. Im just disagreeing with you cause I see no resemblance in styles between Broner and Berto. Name some resemblances you see between the 2?

Yeah I noticed that with the hypocritical stance of Wlad fans calling Mayweather a duck.

If ever there was a bum of the month club champ these days it was Wlad.

See my last post, I didn't say he fights just like Berto I said he fights in a style more similar to Berto than Toney.

How does he fight similar to Berto though? You stated he does which is cool, I respect your opinion but at least say why he fights like Andre.

I say he fights like heavyweight James Toney although not at his level, but visually and stylistically he is more similar to Toney then he is to Berto. Adrien and James(HW) both like to walk there there guys down, both move there head, both roll there shoulders, both are counter punchers. Broner does everything James does, just not at Toney's level and not against the level of competition Toney has faced, thats why I said he was a watered down version of JT.
