The son of the legend, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-1-1, 32 KOs), is hoping to get some very big fights after Saturday's match against Brian Vera (23-6, 14 KOs), which takes place at the Stubhub Center in Carson, California. The fight is going to take place at a max weight of 173-pounds. Chavez last fought at the middleweight limit of 160-pounds, where he suffered his first career defeat against Sergio Martinez last September in Las Vegas. While his next fight is almost two divisions above the middleweight limit, and he had issues making 168, Chavez would be willing to make 160 again for two major fights - a rematch with Martinez and a grudge match with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
