Chavez Jr. is plain garbage and disrespectful trash

Screw Chavez jr and screw Bob Arum for kissing Chavez Jr's rear end. No 168 lb limit made no fight. Chavez jr. is crap.

this is exactly why chavez jr is bad for boxing. there's a big difference between a national hero and a national puppet.

Very uncool for Vera, I hope they compensate him properly for this mismatch.
Chavezito's laziness will be his downfall. Unless they keep up with this "clever match making" his time as a relevant fighter will be coming to an end soon.

Is this some sort of a joke? This is professional boxing and the last time I checked we don't determine the weight limit three days before a fight based on what one guy thinks he can get down to. I can't believe that this guy actually gets a pay check.

They don't, especially for a high profile HBO fight, make a contract and keep changing the weight because one guy can't make it. And then the week of the fight change it again. An basically tell Vera he has to accept it or not get paid and make a living cause he's the B side.

So Vera will accept it cause he has to pay his bills but he's absolutely being taken advantage of and this is absolutely unprofessional, immoral and disgraceful to boxing and a big deal should be made about it by fans and media.
Its always been like that broner vs escobedo pbf vs JMM etc etc all the money guys prospects get pampered and protected but is this challengers dumb fault. for example escobedo vs broner it was a mismatch to begin with and on top of that he never tried since the beginning to make weight. What would of happend if escobedo pulled out or vera pulls out. When is ther going to be a fighter with balls as big as the bulls to actually say **** you and **** your money there is no fight theh promoters would actually think about promoting that top prospect.

Money talks and that is what ruins boxing. Why does boxing call pbf the best boxer in the world when he really never took the best challenges out there??? he did take on some good competion and has a good resume not like the ATG resume. has all the skills in the world but his resume just doesn't compare to atg his skills do though

look at judges, promoters, refs etc protecting investments it always sicken me I love boxing but hate the politics. Everything malignagie said about diaz and broner is true but when someone calls them out they all backstab him. Look at showtime how they didn't backed up paulie and made him apologize after to keep his job.

That's not their intention as far as I can understand. Chavez may still make the weight. Arum was asked a question about Chavez' weight and he responded-he was saying that he didn't know. I've already suggested elsewhere that there is likely a clause with penalties for overweight and Chavez (Arum) will pay it if he's over. At least that's the way it's usually done. This isn't an important fight just a "getting-back-in-action" fight for Chavez. It's much more important for Vera because he's a journeyman and a win would be huge for him, no matter what the weight.

So I don't see what the fuss is all about. It's so easy to stir up trouble here.

Well I suppose than that I'm wrong. I go by what I read on here and a couple of other sites.

They're not "discussing " it. They are being badgered by reporters who have "heard something" and are right at them.
