I find it laughable that Tarver is "surprised" that no one wants to fight him. He is seriously damaged goods and will have to start from the bottom. If he's not willing to do this then he will have to call it a career then.

Well I dunno about that. Adamek has looked like shit ever since the Vitali fight. If he struggled against a one-armed Chambers and a gun-shy Cunningham, Tarver's ranginess would make him look even worse. Good fight, though. Sounds about right considering where they both are in their careers.

Wow... Someone has a serious case of loser denial. I don't mean to be a jerk, but the guy was always a bore to watch and could never punch. Hopkins said it best when he said Tarver's best fight was in Rocky Balboa. Haye would KO him in one round. Haye probably mean "you're not worth my time." Denial can be so powerful and all consuming. SMH.

Bore or not Tarver is a skilled boxer and when he was in his prime Tarver was an elite, worldclass fighter. Haye would not KO Tarver in one round. Tarver was and still is a very good boxer. Good defence nice jab and very good when it comes to counter punching. He also had some nice pop in his straight left hand.

This dude was never special, he only became recognised after his film debut... that in itself shows how popular he was.

Tarver became recognized after knocking out Roy Jones jr. That's the main reason why he was able to get into acting. At that time it was pretty damn special to KO Roy Jones. You can't take that away from him.
