fighting canelo now means nothing we don't even know if he's all that damn good ,we don't know anything about him other than cotto's big bro almost kod him.

Your opinion of him just before the Trout fight is correct. Trout is the only name on his record.

And he was not impressive against Trout, Canelo won but it was a close fight.

But all of your posts are from the time, when Floyd was building this fight already to make the public believe the hype.

In 2012 nobody really wanted this fight, we knew what Canelo was about.

yawwwwn new day same shyt. try harder
You know nobody at welter or jr middle is beating him. Theirs a few power punchers who have a punchers chance that's it. He has to move up to challenge himself or he is just coeasting and I'm not paying 75 bucks again for his fights unless it pqc or Lara right now. And he better keep stacked undercards. Ultimately Floyd has to move up to middleweight fight Martinez and Golovkin. Thos guys are legit challnges with no caveats. Though they have to be at middleweight. Ill even take a 157 or 156 catchweigt with either of those 2.

because Pac/Arum wouldn't accept the flat 40 million he offered them. Instead Pac got KTFO by JMM for less than 1/4 of that. What sucks is that a Pac/Floyd matchup will never again be worth the kind of money for Pac to be offered that again. Bet Manny wishes he would have accepted the fight!

lol, before pac slaughtered delahoya nobody wanted floyd to fight him(not comparing canelo to pac's resume)

canelo beat trout like i suggested he'd have to do to earn or ppl think he'd have a chance just like pac did when he beat delahoya cotto/hatton

once nelo beat trout ppl thought floyd should skip the guerrero fight and just fight nelo that's how much people wanted the fight.

You did say look impressive, not just win.

People are fools, and they fell for the hype.
6 months earlier there was a poll on here and I think Canelo was like 5 choice for a Floyd opponent.

And Pacquiao had a great resume before and after Oscar, and it was the manner of victory as well.

Boxing today seems like music today, it is not about the talent you got or how good you are, it what hype machine behind you that means you can be a big earner.

Floyd likely retires unbeaten. At this point, its not about whether he'll be beaten before he retires, but will he be TOUCHED ? Challenged? Come in contact with an opponent's glove? Floyd was put in there with anyone they could get into the ring. But this has NOT been the case for the last few years. Due to the money generated, Floyd has only been put up against ONE style. It's a style thats slower, stalking, more come forward, less athletic, and not as defensive. Its a style that Floyd will always box circles around and 12 round borefests. I get the feeling that money will dictate that this style is put in the ring with him for the remainder of his SHO contract and career.

Give "another style" a chance...whether that style is from the UK, Philippines, or Brownville Brooklyn . Put Canelo on that undercard and you still pop big buyrates.

Pac/Arum offered $50 million. A boring boxer don't deserve to make the kind of money he's making in the first place. He's been ripping off fans for years now.

Pac wanted a 14 day cut off because he said he gets weak when they take blood , that's a bald faced lie !

You swallowed it like a fish taking bait .

Rios take the test with no cut off date because I only get weak for Floyd .

Why are you so gullible , it appears your not very intelligent and that reflects in the majority of you posts .

true he didn't look impressive to me but he won so i'll give that i guess.

the hype as well as the demand like i said, I'm not comparing resumes but no one was suggesting pac fight floyd until he beat delahoya and cotto/hatton

it was the same with canelo once he beat trout the hype and demand for the fight was at an all time high.

everyone wanted the fight, now was canelo a threat?

we now know he wasn't and maybe you knew before hand but majority of even hardcore boxing fans would say they gave canelo a chance more than anyone else besides pac.

You clowns should be the last people on earth who should talk about testing. Your hero tested positive three times and got away with it. It's obvious that roiding is a huge part of his career.
