Canelo and his team are letting all the cats out of the bag now. The fact that Canelo managed to get certain things his way is testament to how badly Floyd needed this fight. There was no one out there who could make a PPV splash other than Pacquiao, especially after the Guerrero financial debacle.

I reckon if Canelo and his team had stayed poker faced they could have gotten away with 154, cos where was Floyd gonna go? Khan? Alexander? He would have been laughed out of the sport. Then again, I think Canelo really wanted this fight, he truly believes he can win and although I think Floyd schools him, he won't be a Guerrero or an Ortiz or a fat Marquez, Canelo is coming with a plan and is going to make this a decent fight at the very least.

This just proves Floyd didn't put up all those roadblocks against other opponents. They negotiated, Canelo said "no, sir" and Floyd took it as a man and accepted the fight

They should have not sign the contract and stuck with the 1 mil paydays on shobox instead ,if you got beat out of negotiation then you loss the battle already which will be the excuse for losing ,he needs to be fighting at 160 if your coming in at damn near a light heavyweight.
