I know him and Mares is being groomed as a mini mega fight in the next year or so for the little guys.....but who has Santa Cruz actually beat so far??? I know he looks pretty good, is entertaining, but I just don't think the guy has really been in with anyone too great yet. Has he even beaten anyone in the Top 10 at 118 or 122 yet???

Terrazas is his step up fight and that's not a bad win at all if he pulls it off. -

He's not ready for Mares yet. I think we all see the talent, exciting style and skill set of Santa Cruz so some people want to see those two in the ring now. Imo, the fight is a year or two away in terms of Santa Cruz being ready but it may happen sooner. Terrazas is a good step up for him. After that fight we can better gauge where he's at. When the fight actually does happen, it will be great.Comment
