As krikya360.com reportes earlier, former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. suffered a small cut on his eyelid, likely from a sparring session, and needs at least three weeks to properly heal. As a result, Chavez withdrew from a planned fight with Brian Vera on September 7th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Chavez has been training in his hometown of Culiacan under the supervision of Vladimir Baldenebro, Alex Ariza and his father, the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez.
