Comments Thread For: Thurman vs. Guerrero Being Targeted For November 2

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised krikya360.com that he wants to put together a high stakes showdown between WBA interim-welterweight king Keith "One Time" Thurman, and former champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero, for November 2nd. Golden Boy is planning a big event for the date and Thurman-Guerrero is on Schaefer's radar for the show.

Thurman (21-0, 19KOs) last fought on July 27th, when he knocked out previously undefeated Diego Chaves in an action-packed fight. Guerrero (32-2-1, 18KOs) last fought in May, losing a twelve round decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Good fight. I got Thurman UD or late TKO. Thurman is a threat. He seems to be getting better every fight.

Robert Guerrero going to school him in a UD, his experience will be key. Going to take Thurman in to waters where he's inexperienced.

Surprised Guerrero isn't looking for an easier touch, I'm gonna go with Thurman by decision or possibly even by stoppage.
