Berto appeared to injure his right shoulder around the fourth round, yet he fought on valiantly as the action wore on, electing to utilize his left hand as best he could.
And despite scoring a knockdown in the eleventh round with a left to Karass?body, Berto himself was floored with a counter left in the final round, as referee Jon Schorle chose to call a halt to the action as Andre rose on shaky legs.
Speaking with Showtime’s Jim Grey after his loss, Berto confirmed his injury.
“I think I tore out a socket early, like the fourth round,?Berto claimed. “My right shoulder; that’s why I kept using my left. I couldn’t really use it. But, like I said, I’m a warrior at the end of the day. No matter what happens.?br /> [Click Here To Read More]
